Kastelruth/Castelrotto

Kastelruth/Castelrotto (1,050 metres above sea level) is the largest holiday resort in the Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi Dolomites region and is one of the places that have been awarded the title of Borghi più belli d'Italia, Italy’s most beautiful hamlets and villages. The painted façades in the historic town centre are remarkable, as are the numerous local businesses that invite you to stroll and shop. The museum of traditional costumes is also here, as is a museum dedicated to the local folk band, the Kastelruther Spatzen. The 82 metre church tower watches over the town.

Seis am Schlern/Siusi allo Sciliar

Seis am Schlern/Siusi allo Sciliar lies at the foot of the 2,500-metre-high Schlern – the legendary mountain to which the oldest nature reserve in South Tyrol owes its name: the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Reserve.
